About Us
Catherine Cook Art & Design began very small in April of 2012. The first cards featured fat Easter bunnies, hand painted, one-by-one. No two cards were alike. The response was very positive, and so the company grew from bunnies to raccoons, pigs and everything in between.
In 2013 the company began printing cards and selling through local shops. Today items can be found at Duly Noted Stationery, Kept, the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, as well as online on Etsy. All cards are created and printed in Halifax, NS featuring original watercolour paintings by Catherine (Cook) Bolivar. |
About Catherine (Cook) Bolivar
I was born and raised on the South Shore of Nova Scotia, Canada.
I received my graphic design diploma from Nova Scotia Community College in 2011, and now live and run Catherine Cook Art & Design from Dartmouth, NS. My greatest passions in life are art, nature and animals which I surround myself with and use as my inspiration. I love seeing the smile on someone's face when they pick up a card with a cat springing from a birthday present, or a raccoon in an ugly Christmas sweater. This is just one of the rewarding reasons I started this business. |
